Overview

A farmer-focused decision-support platform combining machine learning, real-time market data, and accessible voice and WhatsApp interfaces. It predicts crop prices, forecasts groundwater levels, compares prices against MSP, and generates personalized crop recommendations based on location and market conditions.

What I built

LightGBM-based crop price prediction using historical mandi data
XGBoost-based groundwater level forecasting and health scoring
MSP comparison and crop ranking based on predicted profitability
Personalized recommendations using farmer location and market data
Voice interaction through Gemini-powered audio transcription
WhatsApp integration using Twilio for accessible farmer interaction

Challenges & learnings

Combining multiple time-series ML pipelines with real-time agricultural data while translating model predictions into simple, actionable insights for farmers required careful feature engineering, API design, and data processing.
